The Federal Skilled Trades Program is a program for workers, who are qualified in a skill or trade, and want to apply for permanent residency. To be eligible to apply you must demonstrate the minimum program requirements including:

· Skilled Work Experience
· Job Requirements for Skilled Trade
· Job Offer or Certificate of Qualification
It is also possible that you may have to be evaluated for your specific trade. The qualification process will differ by the province where you will live and work.
