The IRCC does allow individuals to appeal certain immigration decisions.  The Immigration Appeal Division is in charge of managing these immigration appeals including orders of removal, residency obligations, and sponsorship decisions. To start the process, you must file a Notice to Appeal document and gather the information regarding your initial application.

Notably, there are certain decisions which cannot be appealed (such as the denial of temporary resident permits).  In these cases, you must ask another officer to reconsider the application.

Immigration appeals can be very complicated. Kindly book a consultation if you are interested in appealing your immigration denial or if you need support filing an appeal.  Our expert team can support you with the process. BOOK A CONSULTATION
