Atlantic Canada refers to the provinces of New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. The IRCC has created a specific program to support employers in Atlantic Canada and to spur economic development. The Atlantic Immigration Pilot program helps employers recruit skilled workers and international graduates, and sponsor those candidates for permanent residence.
There are 3 programs in the Atlantic Pilot Program:
● Atlantic High-skilled Program
● Atlantic Intermediate-skilled Program
● Atlantic International Graduate Program
In the program, the employer and person work together to secure a provincial endorsement and eventually apply for permanent residence with the IRCC.
